Speculation continues over whether Lionel Messi will attend the 2026 Ballon d’Or ceremony in London on October 26, following conflicting reports about his possible participation in the prestigious football awards event.
Earlier reports suggested that the Argentine superstar would attend the ceremony and potentially present the Ballon d’Or trophy to this year’s winner. However, renowned football journalist Fabrizio Romano has reportedly dismissed claims that Messi has been invited to present an award.
According to Romano, the eight-time Ballon d’Or winner has not received an invitation for the presentation role. His attendance at the ceremony also remains unconfirmed, leaving uncertainty over whether the Inter Miami captain will be present at the event.
